Place Security At The Heart Of Your IT Strategy

A combination od widespread use of the Internet and subsequent virus attacks has raised public awareness of the extreme importance of an effective IT security strategy. Whatever the size of an organisation, ensuring data integrity and functionality of mission-critical systems is just as important, whether there are 5 or 500 computers.

A secure computer strategy does not just consist of detecting viruses and excluding unwelcome Internet hackers. It also embraces policies designed to ensure that a network is secure from downtime due to other threats, such as wear-and-tear.

Subject matters that Andrew will be discussing include:

  • Fault Tolerant hardware and software
  • Effective backup solutions
  • Firewalls
  • Anti-virus solutions
  • Physical Security
  • Procedures

At the beginning of the seminar, Andrew will be posing three crucial questions for each delegate to consider:

1. How important to their organisation is its data?
2. Could their organisation operate without this information?
3. Are they confident that their data is secure?
