IAHR, founded in 1935, is a worldwide independent member-based organisation of engineers and water specialists working in fields related to the hydro-environmental sciences and their practical application. Activities range from river and maritime hydraulics to water resources development and eco-hydraulics, through to ice engineering, hydroinformatics, and hydraulic machinery.

Research Fellow (Cell Testing), The University of Warwick, UK
Do you have a strong background in lithium cell chemistry and characterisation? Are you ready to join a world-leading research group with state-of-the-art facilities?

Using the resources of our Energy Innovation Centre (EIC), you will be responsible for characterising the impact on cell chemistry from varying charge-discharge user cases. The EIC includes a battery pilot line facility able to manufacture a range of lithium ion chemistries as pouch cells. The function of the EIC is to allow manufacturing, characterisation, testing of energy storage at the system level. The pilot line facility is unique within the UK and will allow manufacturing and scientific challenges such as improving energy density, power density, cost, functional safety, reliability and improving lifetime to be addressed for the benefit of industry.

You will possess a good honours degree or equivalent in a relevant subject and a doctorate level qualification in a relevant research field (or equivalent).
