Fully-funded PhD studentships, the EPSRC Water Informatics: Science and Engineering (WISE) Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT), Bristol, Bath, Cardiff and Exeter Universities, UK

The EPSRC Water Informatics: Science and Engineering (WISE) Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) is now accepting applications for fully-funded PhD studentships to commence in September 2016.

WISE CDT offers an exciting and innovative learning environment that provides students with the opportunity to develop and carry out PhD-level research with the added benefit of taught courses to give them a solid background in, and knowledge of, their chosen discipline.

Students will work with world leading academics from four globally renewed Water research centres at Bristol, Bath, Cardiff and Exeter Universities.

Successful applicants will spend the first year of the programme at the University of Exeter, undertaking taught modules of the WISE CDT Postgraduate School. They will then move to their preferred institution to carry out their research projects for three years.

Highlights of the programme include an annual week long residential summer school and research workshops from a multitude of industrial and academic experts in the water sector.

Please see the WISE CDT website for further information and full details on how to apply.
