IAHR, founded in 1935, is a worldwide independent member-based organisation of engineers and water specialists working in fields related to the hydro-environmental sciences and their practical application. Activities range from river and maritime hydraulics to water resources development and eco-hydraulics, through to ice engineering, hydroinformatics, and hydraulic machinery.

PhD Funding Opportunities at the University of Bath, UK
The Universities of Bath, Bristol, Cardiff and Exeter invite applications from UK/EU students for 4-year fully-funded PhD studentships commencing in September 2016 as part of its EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Water Informatics: Science and Engineering (WISE).
 
This new centre-of-excellence will act as a hub of international and industrial collaborations, training scientists and engineers with the relevant skills, knowledge and professional attributes to across industry and academia.
