IAHR, founded in 1935, is a worldwide independent member-based organisation of engineers and water specialists working in fields related to the hydro-environmental sciences and their practical application. Activities range from river and maritime hydraulics to water resources development and eco-hydraulics, through to ice engineering, hydroinformatics, and hydraulic machinery.

Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Water/Environmental Engineering, University of Glasgow, UK
The University of Glasgow’s School of Engineering seeks applications for an academic post from outstanding candidates to develop and lead research of international standard in Water/Environmental Engineering.
We expect successful candidates to contribute to teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level, and to participate in School administration.
For appointment at Senior Lecturer, applicants must evidence an established reputation in an internationally competitive field of research within Water/Environmental Engineering and the necessary skills and experience to take a leading role in the maintenance and development of their research area within the School of Engineering.
