Drinking Water Engineer, Sweden
Responsibilities:
Position includes work in both field and R/D Lab environments. Technical report preparation is a part of the R&D activities.
Be responsible for product and process innovation. Provide senior-level technical know-how on all project aspects associated with conceptual engineering to detailed engineering designs.
Required to interact with internal and external clients; responsible for project deliverables; meeting milestones; and clearly communicating to the local and global team and clients.
Be responsible for feasibility tests before project formulation. This includes characterizing water samples from customers, evaluating technological feasibility studies for the treatment of various water/wastewater.
Be responsible of lab-scale and pilot-scale tests and studies to validate the applicability of Höganäs water treatment technologies.
 
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a PhD degree in Engineering (Environmental or Chemical, with major in water treatment) and 2+ years of hands-on engineering experience in drinking water treatment activities. Experience with groundwater remediation is a plus.   
Knowledge and experience in various state of the art treatment technologies in drinking water, remediation of contaminated soil and groundwater experience is necessary. Knowledge on physico-chemical treatment technique is preferred (UV, ozone, etc.).
Proven track record of innovative product/process formulation and design for water treatment. 
Should be able to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
Language skills: English and Portuguese
