Associate/Full Professor and Chair, Environmental Sustainability, New York Institute of Technology
New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) School of Engineering and Computing Sciences Associate/Full Professor, Environmental Technology and Sustainability (one position).
New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) seeks an Associate/Full Professor to chair the Environmental Technology and Sustainability MS Program and introduce new initiatives in the sustainability, energy and/or water engineering areas (full-time, tenured position; Manhattan and OW campus). The selected candidate will also teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Environmental Technology/Sustainability/Energy Management. He/She must be able to initiate and/or participate in research grants and industry contracts.
Candidates must have Ph.D. degrees in Environmental Engineering or related fields, excellent communication skills and solid curriculum development, publications and administrative records. Commitment to teaching is required. Candidates must show evidence of sponsored research, contracts and external grants.
