Flood Modeling - Philadelphia, PA, USA
One of the largest global insurers is seeking a Manager Catastrophe RD in Flood Modeling to join the AIG Cat Management and Analytics Center of Excellence. The interested individual will join a dynamic research and development team comprising people with diverse backgrounds, such as flood modeling, natural hazards, wind and earthquake engineering, seismic hazard, atmospheric sciences, etc.

This position will be responsible for managing and developing cutting edge underwriting and portfolio management solutions for flood/storm surge/tsunami risk assessment. Individuals should also have strong experience in developing climate informed global flood risk estimation methodology. This position also requires solid experience with GPU computing and hydrodynamical modeling, such as Delft 3D and Mike 21, and tsunami models, such as TUNAMI.
