IAHR, founded in 1935, is a worldwide independent member-based organisation of engineers and water specialists working in fields related to the hydro-environmental sciences and their practical application. Activities range from river and maritime hydraulics to water resources development and eco-hydraulics, through to ice engineering, hydroinformatics, and hydraulic machinery.

PhD position at University of Leeds, UK
A PhD poistion on sustainable stormwater management is available at the University of Leeds, School of Civil Engineering.

This research is carried out within the project Controlling Diffuse Pollution in Urban Areas using Biofiltration Systems funded by the White Rose Consortium and in collaboration with the Universities of Sheffield and York.
The studentship is part of the Water Connected City programme of water@leeds and the candidate will work in collaboration with the project partner ARUP.
