IAHR, founded in 1935, is a worldwide independent member-based organisation of engineers and water specialists working in fields related to the hydro-environmental sciences and their practical application. Activities range from river and maritime hydraulics to water resources development and eco-hydraulics, through to ice engineering, hydroinformatics, and hydraulic machinery.

IAHR/COPRI Symposium "Long Waves and Relevant Extremes", 36th IAHR World Congress, The Hague 2015
IAHR/COPRI Symposium entitled “Long Waves and Relevant Extremes” will be held at the 36th IAHR World Congress in Delft, the Netherlands. 
The Symposium is supported by COPRI - The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and builds on the success of the previous Long Waves Symposium held in parallel with the 30th IAHR World Congress, Thessaloniki, Greece, 2003.

You are kindly invited to submit abstracts for this session by the 4th of December 2014. The deadline for other abstracts is November 4, 2014.
