Marine Engineer position at DHI France

With the same vigour, our office in France has also seen similar growth and is now looking for a new ‘Engineer- Coastal and Offshore dept’ to join their team.

As an integral part of the DHI team, you will participate in a variety of project activities, often involving complex numerical modeling. Our project work in France includes a wide range of consulting services within coastal and estuarine dynamics, and marine energy and infrastructures.

You will report to the Coastal and Offshore Head of Department and managing director whilst working in conjunction with the local and global marine team.

Main responsibilities

  • Execute properly the marine studies in terms of quality, time schedule and budget
  • Participate in the commercial activities such as answering to tenders



  • MSc or equivalent experience within hydraulics and oceanography
  • 0 - 3 years' work experience within marine studies including hydrodynamic and wave modelling (2D/3D)
  • Fluent French
  • Able to use English as a communication language
  • Able to work and cooperate in an international team
  • Good technical and analytical skills
  • Good technical reporting skills, writing and communication skills


  • Experience with MIKE© by DHI products
  • Proficiency in Matlab programming or equivalent
