Department Head Environmental Hydrodynamics

The job 
Your main responsibilities are:

  • manage, motivate and develop ca. 20 highly educated professionals and help in their personal development;
  • integral management of finances, business and project development, research and innovation within the department;
  • realise the knowledge ambition of the department by extending and renewing the (inter-)national knowledge and market position;
  • actively increase the network and cooperation of the department with other groups inside and outside of Deltares;
  • member of the management team of the unit and involved in the strategy development and execution within the context of Deltares’ mission.

The appointment for this position is for the time being for four years with the potential for extension.
