IAHR, founded in 1935, is a worldwide independent member-based organisation of engineers and water specialists working in fields related to the hydro-environmental sciences and their practical application. Activities range from river and maritime hydraulics to water resources development and eco-hydraulics, through to ice engineering, hydroinformatics, and hydraulic machinery.

Faculty Position in Hydrology/Water Resources Engineering, National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore
The Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering, National University of Singapore (NUS) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the area of hydrology / water resources engineering. 
The candidate should hold a doctorate in civil/environmental engineering and with strong background and experience in stormwater management, urban hydrology and related resiliency. The opening is at the assistant professor level, but exceptionally well qualified applicants may also be considered at the associate professor level. Postdoctoral experience is highly desirable. The successful candidate must be able to teach effectively in English at both undergraduate and graduate levels and develop an active research programme.
