Fully-funded 3 year EPSRC DTP PhD studentship, Brighton and Durham Universities, UK
Applications are open for a fully funded 3 year EPSRC DTP studentship which will be jointly supervised by Brighton and Durham Universities. Based at Brighton, this studentship will use an integrated approach combining field, laboratory and numerical modelling to generate a new quantitative, process-based understanding of river adjustment in relation to flood sequencing and its concomitant impact on flood risk.  The student will also have the opportunity to work with the industry project collaborators, Northwest Hydraulic Consultants, Seattle.
Dr Annie Ockelford (University of Brighton)
Professor Phil Ashworth (University of Brighton)
Dr Rich Hardy (University of Durham)
Industry Collaborators:
