IAHR, founded in 1935, is a worldwide independent member-based organisation of engineers and water specialists working in fields related to the hydro-environmental sciences and their practical application. Activities range from river and maritime hydraulics to water resources development and eco-hydraulics, through to ice engineering, hydroinformatics, and hydraulic machinery.

JOB ALERT: Lecturer in Physical Geography, University of Hull, UK
Come and work with us in the School of Environmental Sciences, University of Hull. We are looking for a Lecturer in Physical Geography. Applications are invited for a 3-year fixed term appointment from specialists in environmental change, ideally in palaeolimnology and/or water quality and related areas. You will have the opportunity to work with staff in the wider School of Environmental Science who study ecosystems at a range of scales, with expertise in whole organism biology, coastal and freshwater ecology, eDNA and ecotoxicology. There are also opportunities to build on cross-disciplinary strengths including the connections between energy and environment, sustainability and industrial ecology.
