ARC Linkage Project
PhD project areas:
(1) Flow field visualisation and advective-dispersion model validation using drifter data. The appointee’s major should be in mechanical engineering, physics, earth science or mathematics.
(2) Lagrangian data assimilation in hydrodynamic models. The appointee’s major should be in mechanical engineering, physics, earth science or mathematics.
(3) Air-water interface flux exchange: field observation and numerical modelling.
(4) Developing of GPS components and real time monitoring. The appointee’s major should be in electrical/electronic/mechatronic engineering or physics.
Applicants from different backgrounds to those indicated above but who have other experience of an equivalent standard are encouraged to apply.
