IAHR, founded in 1935, is a worldwide independent member-based organisation of engineers and water specialists working in fields related to the hydro-environmental sciences and their practical application. Activities range from river and maritime hydraulics to water resources development and eco-hydraulics, through to ice engineering, hydroinformatics, and hydraulic machinery.

IAHR Water System Operations Working Group

Aims and Scope

The mission of this workgroup is to promote research excellence, serve the community and provide leadership and guidance for the advancement of knowledge in the field of operations of large surface water reservoirs around the world.
It works in collaboration with other interested Technical Committees of IAHR especially with the Water Resources Management Committee.
